Swearing-in ceremony for junior school solemnised at Jodhamal school

JAMMU, Oct 4: The Investiture Ceremony to ceremoniously install the School's Students' Council was held at Jodhamal Public School, Jammu, in all solemnity.
The distinguished chief guest for the occasion was Hemant Kumar, a retired IAS officer, Guest of Honour S. M. Sahni, KAS, and Special Guest of the day Sanjeev Verma, IAS, graced the event. The parents of the newly inducted Prefect Council were esteemed guests who attended the ceremony with immense pride in their hearts.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of a sacred lamp amidst the resonant chants of the Gayatri Mantra, followed by a motivational song performed by the Junior Choir Group, uplifting the spirits of all present.
As the swearing-in ceremony progressed, the newly elected Prefects ascended the stage with pride in their gait and a glow on their faces. The comperes eloquently read out the citations as the Prefects made their way forward. They were honoured with badges and sashes by the chief guest, acknowledging their new roles. A total of 44 students were conferred with various portfolios, and Principal Girish Kumar administered the oath of allegiance to the Prefects with all solemnity.
In his welcome speech, the Head Boy (Junior School) expressed heartfelt gratitude to the School for entrusting the newly inducted Prefect Members with the important responsibilities. He promised, on behalf of all the Prefects, to uphold the values of the School and continue to strive to meet the expectations set before them.
In his Welcome Address, the Principal of the School congratulated the newly elected Prefect members.
The chief guest Hemant Kumar, in his address, shared invaluable insights on leadership, emphasizing the significance of integrity and the art of decision-making in life. He inspired students to embrace their roles with a sense of responsibility and urged parents to foster a supportive environment for their growth. He called upon everyone to contribute positively to the community, reinforcing the importance of active participation in societal development.
The Ceremony was also graced by Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee, Arati Kuthiala, Director, Principal Girish Kumar, Vice Principal, Amita Arora, Headmistress Neetu Johri, Academic Coordinators Junior School, Sarojj, Smriti Malhotra. and Junior School CCA Coordinator, Deepali Puri who were all present to witness this momentous occasion.
Following students from the Junior School were conferred with the Badges and Sashes for the session 2024-25: Maneha Areej Bhat as the Head Girl, Guransh Singh as the Head Boy, Aamyaa Vashishth as the Deputy Head Girl, Rajveer Singh as the Deputy Head Boy, Ciyona Sharma, Gursaadh Gupta, and Akshaj Mehta as the Discipline Prefects, Sarah Gandral, Kiaan Verma, and Ranveer Malhotra as the Eco Leaders, Ahana Gupta and Aahan Sharma as the Sports Captains, Parakram Rana. Myra Magotra, Khidash Gohar, and Daivik Gupta as the CCA Prefects, Sanvi Mehta and Manjot Singh as the Academic Prefects, Sharanya Jandial and Atarash Sharma as Challenge House Captains, Jeyana Gupta and Tanush Anand as Invention House Captains, Ananya Gupta and Eklavya Raina as Discovery House Captains, Sharanya Sangral and Aarush Rajiv Sharma as Enterprise House Captains, Saanvi Gupta and Aarvik Mahajan as the Vice Prefects Discipline, Kiaana Upadhaya and Akshiv Gupta as Eco Vice Leaders, Tara Shan and Aariv Jain as Vice Captains (Sports), Ruvika Sachdev and Riaan Gupta as CCA Vice Prefects, Shubhangi Shekhar and Advay Sharma as Vice Prefects (Academics), Saanvi Gupta and Andrew Raj Anthony as Challenge House Vice Captains, Sara Nawaz and Jivraj Gupta as Invention House Vice Captains, Navda Prashar and Namit Malhotra as Discovery House Vice Captains, and Chitrakshi Kotwal and Divyansh Bir Singh as Enterprise House Vice Captains.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the newly inducted Head Girl (Junior School): Maneha Areej Bhat. The Ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
