| Ex-Servicemen rally at village Mandal | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 27- The Army today organized an Ex-servicemen rally for the border areas at village Mandal near here. The rally was inaugurated by Major General DL Choudhary, GOC Tiger Division and attended by a large number of serving and retired army officers, civil officers and about 1000 ex-servicemen and Veer Naris.
Ex-servicemen are a recognized source of motivation for the society, especially for the remote border areas. For their development and to make the rural society aware of recruitment procedure, agriculture, veterinary and banking facilities, besides health related issues all the concerned departments participated and asked them to further educate the society.
The response to the facilities by the ex-servicemen was very encouraging. A large no of people interacted with the General Officer regarding their problems. The ex-servicemen were very grateful to the chief guest for all his efforts to ameliorate their problems.
