Successful inauguration of international conference held

JAMMU, Oct 5: The highly anticipated International Conference on Civil, Materials, and Environmental Sustainability (ICCMES-2024) was successfully inaugurated today on 4th Oct 2024 at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, Solan, H.P. This prestigious event, bringing together global experts in the fields of civil engineering, materials science, and environmental sustainability, promises to be a landmark gathering for researchers, scientists, and industry professionals. The event was organized by Department of Civil Engineering, JUIT.
The conference commenced with an inaugural address by Dr. Saurav, Conference Chair and Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department. Organized in a hybrid mode, the event brought together researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to discuss the crucial theme of sustainability. The Chief Guest, Manu Bhaskar Gaur, CEO of JUIT, shared his valuable industry insights on the importance of sustainability, emphasizing its relevance in today's global context. In his keynote address, he shared his extensive industry experience, highlighting the growing importance of sustainability in engineering and development.
He also underscored the critical role that innovation and research play in addressing environmental challenges. Prof. Dr. Ashish Kumar, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, expressed sincere gratitude to all partners, with special recognition for the publishers.
He highlighted their crucial role in ensuring that the research presented in this conference reaches a global audience. He emphasized that knowledge dissemination is fundamental to academic progress, and their unwavering support in upholding the highest publication standards is deeply appreciated.
