| Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 06 bovines rescued, 01 vehicle seized | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 5: Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Post Manwal has foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 06 bovines were rescued from a vehicle bearing registration number No. JK14J/1429 at Krishanpur near Tawi Bridge .The driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot after leaving behind the vehicle on the road.
06 bovines were rescued and vehicle seized. In this regard, a case FIR No. 223/2024 U/S 223/BNS 11 PCA Act has been registered in Police Station Jhajjar Kotli
Further investigation is underway.
General public have appreciated the continuous and strict actions of police against Bovine smugglers. |
