| Police arrested bootlegger, recovered 36 bottles of illicit liquor | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct 5: Intensifying its drive against the sale of illicit liquor, District Police Udhampur have arrested 01 bootlegger in the Jurisdiction of Police Station Panchari and recovered 36 bottles of illicit liquor.
Police Party of PS Panchari led by its SHO while performing routine vehicle checking duty at nakapoint Kainthgali, Panchari stopped one vehicle JK14K-6307 for checking purpose.
During checking of said vehicle 36 bottles of illicit liquor (each 750ml) were recovered from the driver of the vehicle namely Sansar Chand S/O Amru R/O Lander, Panchari who has been arrested on spot.
In this regards, a case FIR No. 57/2024 U/S 48(A) Excise Act stands registered at PS Panchari and further investigation of the case is ongoing. |
