10/5/2024 9:45:41 PM
Early times report

Udhampur, Oct 5: the Sohanda Rashtriya Rifles Battalion of the Delta Force organized a Medical and Veterinary Camp at Natha Top near village Sanasar, in Ramban District, under Operation Sadbhavna.
This initiative aimed at providing essential healthcare and veterinary services to underprivileged Gujjar & Bakarwal communities, as well as the local populace residing in remote areas, was highly appreciated.
A dedicated team of medical professionals from the Army, including a lady doctor, along with personnel from District Hospital, Ramban, offered free health checkups and distributed medicines. Additionally, a veterinary team from the animal husbandry department provided consultation, vaccinations, and medicines for livestock. The camp benefitted a total of 500 locals—120 elderly, 180 women, 135 men, 65 children—and treated 76 livestock, offering much-needed medical and veterinary services.
The local community expressed their gratitude for the Army’s efforts, recognizing the challenges of limited healthcare access in remote regions.
This event not only showcased the Army’s dedication to serving the nation but also strengthened bonds with the local communities.
