Poonch, Mar 27- Charging National Conference leadership with adopting casual approach towards miseries of the people, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders today said that need of the hour was to carrying forward the visionary agenda pioneered by the coalition regime headed by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for the over all development of the State.
Addressing series of public meetings in Poonch, PDP general secretary and MLC Murtaza Khan, party MLA from Darhal Choudhary Zulfikar Ali and senior leader Yashpal Sharma said that victory of party candidate Sardar Trilok Singh Bajwa was must to pursue the pro-peace and pro-people policies of the party.
Pointing towards hardship being faced by the people of Poonch, PDP leaders regretted that except getting votes the successive National Conference regime failed to ameliorate lot of the masses. “It was during the regime of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed that special attention was paid towards development and betterment of the Poonch district
Referring to the completion of Mugal road project, MLA Darhal said that linking of Poonch with Kashmir through this route would open new employment avenues in these backward areas which were neglected by the successive representatives.
Reminding the people about the promises made by Mufti Sayed, Yashpal Sharma said that Mufti took many revolutionary steps for the over-all development of this area. Dr Mumtaz Bukhari, Imtiyaz Bandey and Shahzad Khan also addressed these meetings. |
