Counting Observer inspects counting arrangements at Ramban

RAMBAN, Oct 6: Counting Observer for AC-55 Banihal, B.P. Chauhan, along with District Election Officer (DEO) Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulbir Singh, today inspected the counting arrangements made by the district administration for the upcoming vote counting scheduled on October 8, 2024, in Ramban.
The strong rooms and counting halls have been established at the District Administrative Complex in Maitra, Ramban. The arrangements include foolproof security and necessary infrastructure to facilitate a transparent process.
During the inspection, the Counting Observer interacted with Returning Officer for AC-55 Banihal, Rizwan Asgar, and discussed various measures to ensure a smooth and transparent counting process in the district.
The DEO provided a detailed briefing on the arrangements made for both AC-54 Ramban and AC-55 Banihal as part of the Assembly Elections 2024.
The Counting Observer emphasized the importance of collective efforts in ensuring a fair and transparent counting process, assuring full guidance and cooperation from the Election Commission in this regard.
