Int’l players reach Srinagar to participate in Legends League Cricket

SRINAGAR, Oct 6: Retired international cricket players arrived in Srinagar on Sunday to participate in the last leg of Legends League Cricket (LLC) at Bakshi Stadium from October 9, officials said.
After about 40 years, the Kashmir valley will witness seven matches of LLC, including finals during which Indian and International players will be seen in action at Bakshi Stadium from Wednesday. Most of the players reached Srinagar on Sunday and were given a rousing reception on their arrival. Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar will come alive with the excitement of international cricket to host the seven matches of the final leg of the LLC tournament! Featuring 124 former international stars including Mohammad Kaif, Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, Chris Gayle, Ross Taylor, Ian Bell amongst many others will be live in action in Kashmir for the first time ever.
Indian and international cricketing stars will be playing cricket in Kashmir after almost over forty years during the final leg of the LLC.

All arrangements have been put in place for the mega cricketing event at the Bakshi Stadium Srinagar, an official said.
He said that this is a huge opportunity for the people of Kashmir to come to the stadium and watch live cricketing action for the first time in almost 40 years.
The league, known for its thrilling matches and high viewership, attracted a massive audience of 180 million across India during the previous season’s 19 matches.
