RAMBAN, Oct 7: One day Workshop was organized by the office of Development Commissioner, (Handicrafts) Handicrafts (DCH) Service Centre, Udhampur.
In the Workshop presided by the Assistant Director,Handicrafts, Udhampur,Swati Matura ,the women artisans from Ramban,Doda and Udhampur districts were sensitised about the schemes of DCH under the aegis of Union Ministry of Textiles.
On the occasion,the resource persons including national award winning artisans and a Shilpi Deedi demonstrated the skills in embroidery,Basholi Painting and also their products.
They were also educated on GI Registration, E-Commerce,GeM Portal GST, Mudra Yojna,PMJJY,PMJSY etc,.
As many as 18 women artisans were given Pehchan Cards,Rs 500 each and a Khadi hand bags in celebration of Gandhi Jayanti.
Some new women artisans were also registered on the occasion so that they could also avail the benefits of government schemes. |
