JAMMU, Oct 7: The Sadguru Guru Baba Kanshi Giri Ji (Bangang Wale) Charitable Trust has taken a significant step in the fight against the rising problem of drug abuse by launching an impactful campaign aimed at educating and empowering communities. The event, held at GURU GADDI 1008 SAD GURU BABA KANSHI GIRI JI (BANGANG WALE) Banpuri-Sunderbani, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, community leaders, families, and professionals. This campaign seeks to raise awareness and empower individuals to take a stand against drug and substance abuse.
Dignitaries present at the program expressed their views and condemned the abuse of drug and substance. While discussing the issue, 2nd In Comnd. Vivek Saxsena of CRPF, focused on the key points following which we could try and aware our local society at first. Referring to various legal provisions against the drug abuse.
Adding further the members of Trust emphasized the importance of moral values, spirituality, and social responsibility as powerful tools in combating drug abuse. They said, "Drug abuse is a disease that not only destroys lives but weakens the moral fabric of society. Through this campaign, we aim to create a united front to fight this menace and guide our youth towards a healthier, addiction-free future."
The Pledge Signature Campaign was the highlight of the event, with hundreds of attendees committing to stand against drug abuse and contribute actively to this cause. The pledge signatures will be compiled into a symbolic "Wall of Commitment," representing the collective will of the community to address this issue.
In addition to the signature drive, the Trust plans to continue its efforts with a series of workshops, seminars, and outreach programs designed to educate people about the early signs of drug addiction.
This campaign is a part of the Trust's broader mission to promote health, education, and welfare initiatives in the community. The Trust has been a longstanding pillar of hope and guidance for those facing societal challenges, and this campaign reinforces their commitment to social reform.
