RAMGARH, Oct 7: IQAC of GDC Ramgarh organised a documentary screening on the "Life of Mahatma Gandhi" in honor of the Mahatma Gandhi's enduring legacy. The event was organised to mark the 155th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, which holds great significance in promoting Gandhian values among young minds.
The event was held under the able guidance and supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the College. Speaking on the occasion she highlighted the importance of introducing students to historical figures like Mahamta Gandhi, from whose life the students can learn about ideals of peace, equality, non-violence & justice.
Dr. Aditi Khajuria, convener IQAC, spoke on the impact of Gandhiji on Freedom Struggle of India. The documentary delved into pivotal moments of Gandhiji's life from his role in the Indian Freedom struggle to his philosophy of Truth and Non-violence which has inspired millions not only in India but all over the world. The documentary screening was attended by all faculty members and students of the college. Students expressed appreciation for the event, describing it is an eye-opening experience and remarking, "Watching the documentary made us realize the power of truth & non-violence". |
