Inter-Division UT level tournament concludes at GHSS Girls Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, Oct 7: The Inter-Division UT Level Tournament organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports, Kishtwar concluded in a grand success at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Girls Kishtwar.
The tournament brought together young athletes from across Jammu & Kashmir to compete in thrilling matches of Kho-Kho (U/17 and U/19 Boys) and Volleyball (U/14 Girls) showcasing exceptional talent and competitive spirit.
The event was meticulously supervised by District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Kishtwar Jaffer Haider Sheikh. The tournament fostered not only athletic competition but also camaraderie among participants from diverse regions.
The Chief Guest at the closing ceremony Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Javaid Ahmed Kichloo extended heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their enthusiasm and dedication.
In his address Javed lauded the efforts of the athletes, coaches, and organizing staff commending the Department of Youth Services & Sports Kishtwar for its disciplined and hardworking team.
DYSSO also took the opportunity to express his gratitude and pride in his team, specifically, PEMs, PETs, REKs, GMs, and NYC members.
In Kho-Kho U/17 Kashmir Division triumphed over Jammu where as in Kho-Kho U/19 Boys, the Jammu Division secured victory against Kashmir.
In the Volleyball U/14 Girls Finale, Jammu dominated the volleyball finals winning against Kashmir with a commanding 9-point advantage.
The closing ceremony featured a prize distribution where the winners were celebrated for their outstanding performances and sportsmanship.
