Udhampur, Oct 7: Udhampur Police rescued 34 Bovines and seized 02 vehicles used for bovine smuggling. Team of Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO foiled bovine smuggling bid in which 28 bovines were rescued from a vehicle (Truck) bearing registration number JK19A-6436 which was seized from Jakhani nakapoint. Driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot after leaving behind his vehicle on road. In this regard, case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Udhampur. One more bovine smuggling case, in which 06 bovines were rescued by the Police team of Police Post Tikri from a vehicle (Tata Mobile) bearing registration number JK02BW-5086 which was seized. Accused driver namely Abdul Latief S/O Abdul Ghani R/O Badoh, Ramban has been arrested on spot. In this regards, a Case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal. |
