NEW DELHI, Oct 8: All India IPSC Hockey Girls (U-19) Championship concluded at The Punjab Public School last week. Mir Ranjan Negi, a renowned former Indian hockey player and coach was the chief guest. Risika Raj from MGD, Jaipur was adjudged the Best Goalkeeper. Muskan from MNSS, Rai was declared the Best Defender. Teshmeen Kaur from PPS Nabha was adjudged the Most Promising Player of the tournament. Himanshi from MNSS, Rai was declared the Best Player of the tournament. Bronze medal went to the team from PPS. The runners-up trophy and silver medal were bagged by Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School, Jaipur. The winning trophy and gold medal went to MNSS, Rai. Headmaster Dr DC Sharma gave the chief guest a token of appreciation and gratitude.
While addressing the gathering, the chief guest said the players should do everything possible to take hockey to its earlier heights. He declared the championship closed.
