| 3 Hizb ultras held in north Valley | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Mar 27 : Police claimed to have arrested three militants in different areas of North Kashmir on Friday and recovered Arms, ammunition and a Pakistani passport from their possession. Police sources told that acting on specific information regarding the presence of militants in Nihalpora area of Pattan in Baramulla district; a joint party of Army’s 29 Rashtriya Rifles and special operations group (SOG) of police conducted raids in the area on Thursday night leading to the arrested of two militants associated with the banned Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit. Police sources told Press Bureau of India that the two Chinese pistols, 10 rounds, and 2 magazines were recovered from the possession of the militants. The sources identified the militants as Irfan Ahmad Rather son of Ghulam Ahmad Rather and Parvez Ahmad Khan son of Abdullah Khan of North Kashmir’s Bandipore. In Kreeri area of the same district, Army’s 29 Rashtriya Rifles and SOG of police arrested Mudasir Ahmad Wani, a Hizb militant on Friday morning. Police claimed to have recovered a Pakistani passport from his possession. Senior Superintendent of Police, Baramulla, Vipul Kumar told that joint party of Army and police carried our raids in different parts of the district and arrested three Hizbul-Mujahideen militants. “Three Hizbul-Mujahideen militants were arrested by joint party of Army and police. Two Chinese pistols, 2 magazines and10 rounds of ammunition and a Pakistani passport was recovered from the possession of the militants,” Kumar said.
