Time has come to name and shame separatist leaders: Sajad Lone | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 12: A day after launching a scathing attack against “Mr. Money Bags”, People’s Conference (PC) Chief Sajad Gani Lone on Saturday said that time has come to name and shame the separatist leaders. “Some so-called separatist leaders who never went to jail, never experienced torture seem to have forgotten the killings, torture, and jailing of their colleagues. They are actually glorifying the very forces that either killed their colleagues or tortured them or jailed them. What a shame. Such a short memory. Time has come to name and shame them,” Lone wrote on X. An analyst while talking to Early Times said, “It seems that Sajad has decided to take everyone head on as his party People’s Conference couldn’t make its presence felt in the recently held assembly elections in J&K. Sajad just winning the Handwara seat has left him angry and infuriated.” Pertinently, Lone on Friday had launched a scathing attack on top notch businessman turned politician and taunted him for even failing to win his own seat. Without naming any politician, Sajad Lone wrote on X : “To Mr Money bags who incidentally lost his own seat. You financed vote purchase operations in Handwara and Langet. And became the pimp in chief in organising meetings and strategising — how to purchase. How to cross vote. Pimping comes naturally to your character.” “How shameful. You r a wretched ugly Humpty Dumpty of human being. The eternal conspirator. Look— I still won. Thanks to my people. I was unaware of these conspiracies. My Allah was with me,” Lone had added. It’s in place to mention here that Lone lost the Kupwara seat but managed to win from Handwara with a thin margin. During the past few years many parties, including the Peoples Conference led by Sajad Lone and Apni Party led by Altaf Bukhari had claimed that they had emerged as viable alternatives for the National Conference but these formations failed to make any impact on the ground in the recently held assembly elections. |
