JAMMU, Oct 13: In a swift and effective action, R.S Pura Police Station successfully apprehended a bike lifter and recovered a stolen motorcycle. On 08.10.2024, Deepak Kumar, a resident of Ward No. 11, R.S Pura, filed a written complaint, stating that his motorcycle, bearing R.C No. JK02BW/2546, was stolen from outside his house on 12.09.2024 at around 18:30 hrs.
Acting promptly on this information, FIR No. 221/2024 U/S 303(2) BNS was registered at R.S Pura Police Station, and a special team was formed to investigate the matter.
With the help of intelligence gathered from local sources and technical surveillance, the police apprehended the accused, Mushtaq Ali, S/o Rashid Ali, R/o Old Agra Chak, R.S Pura.
Upon sustained interrogation, Mushtaq Ali admitted to the crime, and based on his disclosure, the stolen motorcycle was recovered.
