Jammu, Oct 13: Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, today flagged off the University’s employees cricket team to Chandigarh for their participation in the prestigious 20th Vice-Chancellor’s Cricket Tournament. The tournament is scheduled to be held from October 15 to October 22, 2024.
Wishing the team success, Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba expressed his confidence in their abilities and extended his best wishes. He commended Raj Kumar, the team captain, for his leadership and hoped the team would bring laurels to the University with their performance.
On the occasion, Dr. Baba distributed uniforms, sweaters, shoes, and tracksuits to all the players and support staff.
