Cash Awards to Divyang Toppers by SKK, Gian Devi Jandial Trust

Jammu, Oct 14: At a special function, the Jammu & Kashmir Samaj Kalyan Kendra, Jammu ( SKK) distributed the cash awards to the class toppers in the Board of School Education examination in 8th, 10th, 11th &12th classes during 2023-24 session.
The SKK has instituted cash awards for outstanding students of School for Hearing Handicapped, run by the SKK as a voluntary initiative.
The State Election Commissioner B R Sharma gave away the Award Cheques to five toppers.
Former DGPs and Live Members of the SKK, Kuldeep Khoda Dr Ashok Bhan, President SKK K B Jandial, Sr Vice President Er. Vijay Bhagotra, General Secretary J K Vaid, Treasurer M D Sharma and the Principal Roshan Bhan and many Life Members of SKK were present. The topper of 12th class, Ananya Thappa was presented a cheque of Rs 5000/- for securing 400 marks out of 500 while Karamjeet Singh and Surekha devi shared the award for 11th class for securing 402 marks out of 500 marks. Each was given a cheque of Rs.4000/-. Sudha Choudhary picked up the cheque of Rs 3000 for topping the class in Matriculation Examination. She secured 462 marks out of 500. Harn Kuch topped the 8th class and was given a cheque of Rs. 2500/- for securing 428 marks out of 500.
A local Trust – Smt Gian Devi Jandial Public Charitable Trust, too has instituted cash awards for these toppers. Cash Awards were given to Ananya Thappa, Karamjeet Singh, Surekha Devi, Sudha Choudhary and Harn Kuch by Kuldeep Khoda & Dr. Ashok Bhan jointly.
