| CBI presents challan against civil employee of army | | |

Jammu, Mar 28- CBI/ACB today presented challan in the Court of Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu against one Mohinder Raj, a civil employee, who allegedly cheated the labourers to the tune of Rs 6, 49, 277 by abusing his official position. Mohinder Raj fraudulently obtained public funds (GPF, CGEIS and pay of labourers) on the basis of forged medical claims. The case was registered u/s 419/420/467/468 and 471 RPC r/w section 5(1) (d) r/w 5(2) of J&K PC Act 2006 BK, on the basis of written complaint dated September 18, 2007 received from Col A Rajan Bakshi for Offg Cdr of HQ 71 Sub Area c/o 56 APO and after completion of the investigation challan was presented in the Court of law.
