| Bhat for handing over of Srinagar-Bandipora road to BEACON | | |

Srinagar,Mar 28- Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) General Secretary and MLA Bandipora Nizamudin Bhat has exhorted the government to handover the Srinagar- Bandipora road to BEACON so that its condition is satisfactorily improved.
He has also demanded that two bridges including Aragam and Lahwalpora bridges be immediately restored while Papchan bridge which is ready for traffic be commissioned without any delay to avoid inconvenience to general public.
In a statement issued here he said that Srinagar- Bandipora road connects Gurez and Tuleel as the sole surface link, also connects Ladakh through By-Pass and as such there is urgency to treat it at par with high ways.
This objective cannot be achieved without handing over the road to BEACON an organization better equipped for treatment of such surface links.
