JUNGEU organises felicitation function

JAMMU, Oct 15: In a first of its kind, the Non Gazetted Employees Union, University of Jammu, organized a felicitation function to encourage the wards of the Non Gazetted Employees who have secured 90% and above marks in 10th and 12th class. The ceremony was organized at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu in which luminous prodigy were felicitated by Dean Students Welfare Prof. Prakash Antahal in presence of Dr. Shallu Sharma (Deputy Chief Proctor), Dr. Rakesh Chib (President JUNTEU), Vijay Bhat (President JUNGEU), Balbir Singh (Vice -President), Suraj Prakash (Gen. Secretary), Dev Raj (Joint Secretary), Vidya Lal (Organising Secretary), Ram Paul (Publicity Secretary) and Manik Sharma (Cashier).
In his address, Prof. Antahal appreciated this noble initiative of the union which will provide a significant encouragement to the children to achieve more in life. Such gestures leave a deep impact and thus union deserves praise for this initiative. Dr. Shallu Sharma also congratulated the achievers and wished success for the future endeavours.
Children who were felicitated on the occasion included Bhumika Rajput D/o Surinder Singh, Mannet Bandral & Manik Bandral wards of Swarn Singh, Ananya Mahajan D/o Meenakshi Gupta, Tania Mathur D/o Naresh Kumar, Vikrant Singh Katoch S/o Surjeet Singh, Rajnandani D/o Sushil Kumar, Rajinder Singh S/o Ramesh Singh and Surya Dev Singh S/o Ranjeet Singh
The proceedings of the programme were done by Shehnaz Akhtar. Other members of the union present at the occasion included Mohinder Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, Susheel Sharma, Kuldeep Raj, Abdul Gafoor, Tajinder Singh.
