BJP committed to safeguard interests of Jammu: Sham Lal Sharma

JAMMU, Oct 15: Senior BJP leader and newly elected MLA Jammu North, Sham Lal Sharma has expressed his gratitude to the party high command, local leadership and all party bearers and people of Jammu north for their wholehearted support to ensure his victory in the recently concluded elections.
Speaking at a felicitation function organized by the BJP Mandal Raipur-Domana at Purkhu here today, Sham Lal Sharma said that all the party bearers and ground workers have done commendable job and gave credit of his victory to them in the recently concluded assembly elections. He described the workers as real strength and backbone of the organization and BJP always committed to keep their moral high, Sham noted.
Reiterating his commitment to develop Jammu North as a Model Constituency, Sham Lal Sharma said that he will work hard to ensure better facilities to the people with special focus on improving road connectivity, regular drinking water supply, uninterrupted power supply, health facilities, construction of sports infrastructure and other essential services. He said his doors are open for every one and he is available to people on 24x7 bases as was committed before elections. People can bring their grievances to his notice and he will try to address these on priority, he added.
Maintaining that though the party has got the mandate to sit in opposition, Sharma said that BJP will play its constructive role to protect and safeguard the interests of Jammu people and ensure equal treatment to every section of the society. The party will work hard for strengthening communal harmony, mutual brotherhood and promotion of dogra culture and heritage. The tempo of all round development will continue, he asserted.
Former MP, Shamsher Singh Manhas, Mandal Pradhan, Rakesh Singh, District President Omi Khajuria and Convener Jammu North, Ajay Sharma felicitated Sham Lal Sharma on the occasion. They also thanked the workers for their relentless work during the elections that ensured the thumping victory of BJP.
All office bearers, Presidents of all Morchas, ex-Sarpanchs, Panchs, Presidents Shakti Kendras, Booth Presidents and other prominent workers of Mandal Raipur-Domana were present on the occasion.
