| Bovine smuggling bid foiled | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 15: Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Station Nagrota has foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 18 bovines were rescued from a vehicle bearing registration number No. RJ14GF/8642 at Naka Ban Toll plaza. The driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot after leaving behind the vehicle on the road.
18 bovines were rescued and vehicle seized.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 273/2024 U/S 223/BNS 11 PCA Act 5/52/54/56 Transport of animals Rule Act has been registered in Police Station Nagrota.
Further investigation is underway.
General public have appreciated the continuous and strict actions of police against Bovine smugglers. |
