Crescent Public school organizes fun mela

Crescent Public school, Janipur on the eve of the Navratras has organized a Fun Mela for the students at the school premises in which Drawing ,Craft and Dance competitions at two age group levels viz: 5 year to 8 yr. and 9 yr. to 14 yr. were held.
The first three positions in drawing competition of 5 to 8 year groups were secured by Naveya of Presentation Convent School Jammu, Pavni of Aglo Kidz and Adnan of Crescent Public School Janipur Jammu. In the age group of 9 to 14 years the first prize was won by Mehrin of Crescent Public School, 2nd prize by Aknksha of Army School Nagrota and the 3rd prize by Anushka of Kendriya Vidyalya No.2, Nagrota.
In the Craft competitions the first, 2nd and 3rd prizes in the age group of 5 to 8 yr. were bagged by Maskeen, Danish and Fatima all of Crescent Public School whereas in the 9 to 14 year level competition the first prize was won by Shubam of KV No. 2 Jammu While the 2nd and 3rd prizes were clinched by Ekra of Crescent Public School and Sana Mushtaq of Project model Hr. Sec. School, Jammu.
In the Dance competition of the age group of 5 to 8 years the first three positions were secured by Muskaan Sharma, Harpreet and Janvi whereas in the age group of 9 to 14 years the first position was clinched Ridhima while the 2nd and 3rd positions were secured by Antra and Pragriti.
In order to make the Fun Mela programme interesting the organizers also arranged a dandiya dance and Musical Chair events among the parents of the participating students.
Various stalls of eatables, swings, games, mahandi and Books were also arranged by the school authorities. On the occasion a magic Show was also shown by a magician.
The Chief Guest Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Dharam Veer Singh Jamwal and Managing Director, Crescent Public School Tasneem Choudhary distributed the prizes among the winning students.
In his address Dharam Veer Singh Jamwal stressed on the all around development of the students through these types of activities and congratulated the administration of the school for initiating such type of function which will create a sense of competition among the students that further sharpen their skills.
Dharam Veer also extended his full support to the school authorities and hope that the school shall organize more activities in the near future. Earlier speaking on the occasion Ms. Naseem Choudhary read the annual report of the activities under taken by the school in the recent past years and promised that the school administration do at their level best in providing quality education to the students besides stressing on the importance of co-curricular activities in the years to come.
The event was jointly supervised by Taniya Akhter and Anjali while the proceedings of the Programme was conducted by Vandana.
Sarita Moza Koul, Principal Crescent Public School presented the welcome address.
