JAMMU, Oct 17: Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K organised its 21st UT Level Vigyan, Ganit, Computer Mela at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Ambphalla, from 16th to 18th October, 2024. The programme was inaugurated today by Dr. Diyansh Yadav IAS Commissioner Jammu Muncipal Corporation. In the august presence of Ved Bhushan Sharma, President BSS J&K, Satish Mittal - Vice President, Guest of honour Dr. Asha Chobhey Sr. Principal Scientist CSIR -IIIM, Senior Prant Samiti Members- Ajit Kumar harma,Retd. Joint Director Education, Vijay Kumar Sharma, Retd. CEO, Sh.Shiv Prasad Raina, P. L Pandita Treasurer, Samir Krishan Sapru Office Secretary, Pradeep Singh, Prant Sanyojak Vigyan, NareshSingh Sanyojak Ganit, & Kashi Nath Raina Pramukh Vedic Ganit, Munshi Ram, Secretary SMC, Suneet Raina, Ex- corporator JMC, Rina Bhagat SMC Member, Reena Rajput Principal BVM Senior Sec. School Ambphalla and all other Prant Samiti & School Management Committee members.
Samir Krishan Sapru, Office Secretary presented the aim & theme of Vigyan Mela, welcomed & introduced the chief guest and other dignitaries with the audience. The senior team of scientists, Dr. Asha Chobey, Dr. Amit Nargotra, Dr. P.N. Gupta, Dr. Prashan Mishra, Dr. Yogesh P Bhartkar, Dr. Vinod Kumar, Dr. Manu Khajuria from CSIR IIIM Jammu under the patronage of Dr. Zabeer Ahmed Ji, Director CSIR-IIIM Jammu & Shivani Sharma, Pradeep Shrivastava, Rishi Kumar Sharma (Senior Mathematics Experts) where the judges for the programme. 260 students from 16 BVM's of JKUT (Bal Vagyanicks) of our 07 sankuls participated in this Ganit Vigyan Mela under the guidance of 30 Science, Computer & Math teachers.
Pradip Singh, Sanyojak Vigyan highlighted activities of Vidya Bharti Schools in J&K and said that Vidya Bharti is running 38 Recognized Schools in Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh UTs in which 10000 students are studying under the able guidance of 600 teachers working with missionary zeal. He said that our students excel in Board results of class 10th & 12th. He said that Vidya Bharti works on the mission and vision of overall development of the children. (Shiksha & Sanskar).
The chief guest hailed the efforts of Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti by organizing such events in the UT and specially lorded the efforts of students which had come from Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Ramban, Doda, Udhampur, Reasi, Dadwara, Mandli, Basholi (on observing their scientific talent by preparing computer, science & mathematics models based on different topics given by NCERT and Vidya Bharti. Especially on the eco friendly nature, he assured his full support to Vidhya Bharti. He encouraged & inspired the students & said that with education the students must select the goal & keep in the mind service to the nation first. By this they will serve their ownself, parents, Society & become good citizens of the country. Around 100 models where displayed in the exhibition. Science quiz, vedic ganit quiz, paper reading contests, events will also be held.
The students of BVM Ambphalla presented scintillating cultural programme on the occasion. Satish Mittal, Vice- President of Prant Samiti presented the vote of thanks. The Programme concluded with Vande Matram.
