MLA Randhawa promotes PM Surya Ghar scheme, registers for RTS

JAMMU, Oct 17: MLA Bahu Vikram Randhawa visited the Green Belt sub-division office today to register for the PM Surya Ghar scheme, demonstrating his commitment to promoting renewable energy in his constituency. By registering for the scheme, he's setting an excellent example for his constituents to follow. Moreover, he's pledged to encourage people to install solar panels under the PM Surya Ghar initiative, which is a significant step towards sustainability.
As a dedicated leader, Vikram Randhawa has been actively engaging with his constituents through door-to-door campaigns, listening to their concerns, and sharing the government's achievements. His efforts to promote the PM Surya Ghar scheme align with his vision for Bahu Constituency's development, focusing on infrastructure enhancement, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
The PM Surya Ghar scheme aims to provide free electricity to one crore households in India by installing rooftop solar electricity units. With an outlay of Rs.75,021 crore, this program is expected to save the government Rs. 75,000 crore per year in electricity costs. By promoting this scheme, Vikram Randhawa is contributing to India's transition to renewable energy and reducing carbon emissions. Households can get 300 units of electricity free every month.Households can save approximately Rs 15,000 in a yet.it will promote the use of solar energy, reducing carbon emissions. Vikram Randhawa's initiative to promote the PM Surya Ghar scheme is a significant step towards creating a sustainable future for his constituents.
MLA Randhawa Urged Citizens to Contribute to Climate Change Mitigation and Energy Savings. Randhawa called for Community Involvement for PM Surya Ghar enrollment and help in Reducing Carbon Footprint and Electricity Costs. He also appealed the people to join the Fight Against Climate Change and appeals for Public Participation.
Randhawa Encourages Public to Help Reduce Carbon Emissions and Electricity Bills. MLA Randhawa is taking a great initiative to promote sustainability in his constituency by appealing to residents to adopt the PM Surya Ghar Scheme. This scheme, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to provide free electricity to households and empower them to generate their own electricity through solar power. By encouraging his constituents to join the program, Randhawa hopes to make his constituency a model for solar generation.
Senior officials, including Executive Engineers from ED2, STD1, and ED1, and the Nodal Officer for Solar, attended the program alongside MLA Vikram Randhawa. The Nodal Officer for Solar delivered the vote of thanks, wrapping up the successful event.
The program concluded with the Nodal Officer, Solar, extending heartfelt gratitude to all participants and dignitaries in his vote of thanks.
