| Farmers study tour flagged off | | |

Kishtwar Mar 29-Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar A R Natnoo today flagged off a group of 25 progressive farmers on study tour under Technology Mission at a function organized by the Agriculture Department Kishtwar.
Under the study tour, the participants will visit state level agriculture exhibition at Krishi Bavan, Jammu being organized by the Agriculture Department here tomorrow besides visiting the SKUAST Jammu center for interaction and acclimatization about the latest agriculture know-how and their adoption from the experts and scientists of SKUAST Jammu.
Addressing the farmers, the ADC stressed upon them to gain maximum knowledge during their study tour about the new and latest agriculture technology and adopt these for their benefit and boosting the productions.
Giving a resume of the Agriculture Department in the district, the Chief Agriculture Officer disclosed that the department had earlier arranged a number of such study tours of the progressive farmers hailing from Marwha, Wadwan, Padder, Chatroo, Bhelless and other parts of the district.
