Kathua, Mar 29- A day long farmer’s awareness mega camp was organized at Gujroo Nagrota Billawar. The camp organized by Horticulture Department and sponsored by National Horticulture Board was attended by a large number of prospective farmers of the area.
During the camp the speakers shared their experiences of their tour to state of Maharashtra regarding drip irrigation, sprinkle irrigation..
Joint Director Horticulture, Jammu impressed upon the farmers to avail the benefits of different schemes under horticulture and allied departments.
More than 500 farmers from Kathua, Barnoti, Hiranagar, Billawar and Machhedi blocks of the district attended the awareness camp
