JAMMU, Oct 18: In a significant step towards promoting fitness and a healthier lifestyle among the people of Jammu, Vikram Randhawa, MLA Bahu Constituency, today inaugurated the "Warrior Gym" in the Digiana area. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents, fitness enthusiasts, and community leaders. During the event, Vikram Randhawa congratulated the gym proprietor, Hardeep Singh, for his commendable effort in setting up this new fitness center.
Highlighting the importance of physical fitness in today's fast-paced world, Randhawa said, "The establishment of this gym is a positive step towards promoting fitness and a healthy lifestyle in our community. I hope that more such facilities will come up across the constituency to benefit our youth and encourage them to lead healthier lives."
He emphasized that regular exercise is crucial not only for physical health but also for mental well-being, especially in an era where people lead mostly sedentary lifestyles. He further appreciated Hardeep Singh for creating a space where individuals can focus on their well-being and work towards achieving their fitness goals.
Apart from promoting fitness, Vikram Randhawa encouraged youth to shift their mindset from being job seekers to becoming job providers. He urged them to avail benefit of various flagship schemes initiated by the Modi Government, which aim to promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance. "Our youth have immense potential, and with the right support and guidance, they can create opportunities not just for themselves but for others as well."
Randhawa highlighted schemes such as the Startup India initiative, the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, and the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, which provide financial support and guidance to budding entrepreneurs. He called upon the youth to explore the schemes and incentives provided by the government and work towards becoming successful entrepreneurs. He remarked that with dedication and the right approach, young people can turn their ideas into successful business ventures, thereby contributing to the growth of the economy and creating job opportunities for others.
Proprietor Hardeep Singh expressed his gratitude to Vikram Randhawa for sparing his valuable time for this event and reiterated his commitment to providing the best services to fitness enthusiasts. He assured that Warrior Gym is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and experienced trainers to guide members on their fitness journey. "We have designed various programs and membership packages to cater to people of all age groups and fitness levels. Our goal is to offer a safe and motivating environment where everyone can work towards their fitness goals," he said.
