Two injured in road accident

Udhampur, Oct 18: A serious road accident occurred at NH44 Near Malhar Morh, Udhampur, when a bike skidded off the road, leaving two young men injured. The victims, both residents of Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, were immediately rushed to the Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur for medical assistance. The injured have been identified as Gagan, 25, son of Vishal, originally from Maharashtra and currently residing in Trikuta Nagar, Sector 04. His condition is reported to be critical and Shiva , 22, son of Anjara, also from Maharashtra and residing in Trikuta Nagar, Sector 04, suffered minor injuries and is in stable condition. The accident reportedly occurred when the bike slipped on the road, resulting in serious injuries to the riders. Authorities have been notified, and an investigation into the accident is ongoing. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to road safety rules and driving carefully, particularly in accident-prone areas.
