| GDC Mahanpur holds felicitation ceremony for NSS volunteers | | |

JAMMU, Oct 23: On October 23, 2024, the NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Mahanpur today organized a Felicitation cum Certificate Distribution Ceremony to honor NSS volunteers who participated in the One Week Winter Camp from March 13 to March 20, 2024. The event was coordinated by Dr. Rupalee Jasrotia, NSS Program Officer, under the supervision of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Sudan.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp by the Principal and faculty members. In her welcome address, Dr. Jasrotia commended the hard work of the NSS volunteers and encouraged their continued involvement in nation-building activities.
Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Sudan, the Chief Guest, congratulated the NSS Committee for organizing such impactful programs. She emphasized the role of NSS in developing personality and character through selfless service while also recognizing and nurturing students' raw talent.
Certificates of Participation were awarded to all 50 volunteers by Prof. Sudan, who acknowledged their exceptional contributions. Additionally, volunteers representing the college in various inter-college competitions were honored with trophies and gift hampers.
