JAMMU, Oct 24: Wrestlers from Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura showcased stellar performances in the ongoing inter-college wrestling championship, organized by the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, University of Jammu. On the opening day, Kunal Verma defeated GDC Udhampur and GDC Rajouri to secure a semifinal spot. Shubham Singh triumphed over GDC Jindrah and GDC Ramnagar, while Vikrant Singh beat GDC Basoli and GDC Jindrah. Vishal Bhagat of GDC Udhampur also advanced to the semifinals. With over 200 participants from various affiliated colleges, the event was highly competitive.
Principal Dr. Kulvinder Kour and Mr. Vikram Jamwal, HOD of Physical Education, applauded the wrestlers' efforts and extended their best wishes for the finals. |
