Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 24: Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) celebrated the birth anniversary of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra, a prominent leader in the socio-political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir today. Born on this day in 1884 in Smailpur (Samba), his legacy continues to inspire many. The celebration began with the garlanding of his statue by Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, former minister and president of DSS, along with floral tributes from prominent members of the Sabha. Charak highlighted Dogra's significant contributions as a founder of the Paja Parishad and Bharatiya Jana Sangh, emphasizing his dedication to democratic values, social justice, and the welfare of marginalized communities. He stated, "We remember Pt. Prem Nath Dogra not only for his political achievements but also for his compassion and community service." The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem and the distribution of sweets among attendees. Other notable attendees included Col.
