Senior Congress leaders felicitate Karra in Congress office

Jammu, Oct 24: PCC Chief Shri Tariq Hameed Karra was warmly welcomed & felicitated in the party HQ Jammu today by the senior party leaders over the marvelous victory as MLA from Srinagar city.
A number of senior leaders warmly received & congratulated Mr karra, on his arrival today from Srinagar first time after winning the elections with a huge majority over 14000 from central shalteng Assembly constituency in Srinagar City. The leaders presented bouquets to him & congratulated him.
Later informal interactions were held about the current political situation & the organizational matters.
He asked the party leaders to hold regular interactions with the party workers at the grass root level and highlight the issues of people to bring the notice of party and the coalition Govt. for prompt action.
Karra said that all important commitments & promises would be prioritized by the party for the govt. to work for their fulfillment in time bound manner. He said that the top most priorties of the party include restoration of statehood with safeguards for land and jobs, to deal with large scale unemployment & restoration of Darbar move practice etc. The party leaders & workers should give their inputs to fact finding committee at the earliest possible to submit report within time frame in order to start the process for the arrival & strengthening of the party in the region & bring about organizational & other reforms for the purpose. He also asked the fact finding committee to visit different district & constituencies to interact with grass root party workers, to get their feedback prominent those present include Mr Raman Bhalla, Mula Ram, Ravinder Sharma, Ved Mahajan, Jahangir Mir, Th Balbir Singh, Vinod Sharma, Rajnish Sharma, S.S Channi, Hari Singh Chib, Shah Mohd Choudhary, Shabir Ahmed Khan, Narinder Gupta, Dinanath Bhagat, Narinder Sharma, Namrata Sharma Khushal Bali, Ashwani Puri, Neeraj Gupta, Kapil Singh, Sahil Sharma, Rajiv Saraf, Jatin Raina, Ricky Dalotra, Bhavishay Sudan, Parshotam Mehra, Camres David and others.
Later the fact finding committee held a meeting in the office & initiated the process for inviting feedback from all party leaders & party functionaries apart from candidates. The meeting was chaired by Mr Ravinder Sharma and attended by MR Jahangir Mir, Ved Mahajan, Naresh Gupta, Shah Mohd Choudhary and Dinanath Bhagat.
