Early Times Report

JAMMU, Oct 25: In light of the recent surge in selective killings in Kashmir Province, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta reiterated the unwavering commitment of the Modi government in eradicating terrorism from the region. He stated that the government has been working tirelessly for the past decade to pave the way for peace, stability, and prosperity in the Kashmir Valley.
“Over the last ten years, the Modi government has embarked on a transformative journey, dedicated to restoring normalcy in Kashmir. Our relentless efforts have focused on fostering an environment that encourages development and ensures the safety of our citizens,” he emphasized. “The ongoing operations by our security forces, driven by a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, highlight our determination to combat this menace.”
In a statement issued here today, the senior BJP leader pointed out that, while significant progress has been made, there remains a critical need to identify and dismantle the overground workers and supporters who facilitate terrorist activities in the Valley. “These individuals play a pivotal role in perpetuating violence and chaos, and it is essential that we expose and neutralize their networks. We cannot afford to be complacent; a comprehensive approach is necessary to tackle this issue effectively,” he stressed.
The former Deputy Chief Minister called upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to actively support the initiatives of Modi Govt aimed at maintaining peace and prosperity. “Our efforts can only be successful with the active participation and vigilance of the community. Every citizen has a role to play in our collective fight against terrorism. By standing united, we can ensure a secure and prosperous future for our state,” he asserted.
He said BJP remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the government will continue to prioritize the elimination of terrorist threats and work tirelessly to create a climate of peace that fosters development for all, he added.
