NC stronger than ever in Jammu region: Rattan Lal Gupta

JAMMU, Oct 28: Provincial President of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), Rattan Lal Gupta, asserted that the National Conference has emerged stronger than ever in the Jammu region, establishing itself as the leading political force dedicated to the aspirations of the general public.
In a statement issued here today, the senior NC leader highlighted that, for the first time, the NC Government, headed by the dynamic Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, not only chose a Deputy Chief Minister from Jammu but also has two Cabinet Ministers from the Jammu region, reaffirming the party's commitment to equal representation and inclusive development. "The Omar Government, led by the National Conference, is working without any discrimination, ensuring equal representation and opportunities for both the Jammu and Kashmir regions," he stated. "The National Conference remains committed to its agenda of equitable growth, peace, and stability," he added.
Rattan Lal Gupta reiterated that only the National Conference has the vision and capability to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir without any form of discrimination. "Our party's track record speaks volumes about our dedication to the cause of unity, development, and empowerment. We have always strived to ensure that every voice is heard, and every region gets its fair share of growth," he remarked.
The Provincial President asserted that the National Conference, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah, continues to work tirelessly for the progress of Jammu & Kashmir. With its strong footing in both the Jammu and Kashmir regions, the party is poised to bring about positive and lasting change for all.
Rattan Lal Gupta also emphasized the importance of the entire cadre of the National Conference in Jammu region to prepare for the forthcoming Panchayat, Block Development Council (BDC), and local body elections.
