3/30/2009 10:41:12 PM

Early Times Report
Srinagar, Mar 30- Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, ruling National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir received a shot in the arm as seven rebel party activists from south Kashmir, including Abdul Gani Bhat, on Monday came back to the party fold.
Rafiq Ahmad Khan, Ghulam Qadir Tak, Sheikh Mohammad Rafi, G N Bhat, Imran Nabi Dar, Mohammad Ayub Dar and A G Bhat, who unsuccessfully contested last year's assembly elections, declared their faith in the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at a function organized by the National Conference at its headquarters here.
Welcoming them to the party fold, Abdullah termed their move as a "home coming".
He said the party base would be strengthened in south Kashmir as a result of old activists returning to the party.
