JAMMU, Oct 30: In a proactive effort to ensure a safe and secure Diwali celebration, the Jammu Police, led by Superintendent of Police Ajay Sharma, conducted an extensive area domination drive across Gandhinagar on the eve of the festival. This initiative aimed to deter criminal activities, maintain law and order, and instill a sense of security among residents.
Intensified Patrolling: A significant deployment of police personnel was made to conduct thorough patrolling in residential areas, commercial hubs, and public spaces.
Vehicle Checkpoints: Multiple checkpoints were established to screen vehicles and individuals for any suspicious activities.
Community Engagement: Police officers engaged in foot patrols to connect with the community and address any concerns.
Adding to the festive spirit, the Jammu Police Band delivered a captivating performance that filled the air with melodious tunes, delighting residents and fostering a joyful atmosphere.
Later, the Superintendent of Police (SP) South conveyed Deepawali wishes to the citizens on behalf of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu.
The Jammu Police remains dedicated to providing a safe environment for all citizens, and the successful execution of the area domination drive, along with the vibrant band performance, underscores their commitment to community service during the festive season.
