Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 30: GGM Science College organized a lecture on cyber security awareness to address rising cyber threats in today's digital landscape. The event, guided by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, featured Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Student Welfare at Cluster University of Jammu, as the keynote speaker. Dr. Hussain discussed various cyber threats, including virus attacks, social media vulnerabilities, and financial frauds, highlighting the importance of developing a "cyber hygiene" culture. He noted October as National Cyber Security Awareness Month and emphasized the need for vigilance against cybercrime. In his address, Prof. Gupta underscored the necessity of staying informed about evolving cyber threats to enhance the nation's cyber resilience. He encouraged students to adopt safer cyber practices.
