Early Times Report KHOUR, Oct 30: Government Degree College (GDC) Khour held an informative lecture titled "Cyber Hygiene and Security" as part of its Vigilance Awareness Week activities. The event, organized under the leadership of Principal Prof. (Dr.) T.K. Sharma, attracted both faculty and students eager to enhance their understanding of cyber safety. Dr. (Capt.) Anjana Sharma, Associate Professor and HOD of Computer Applications, served as the resource person for the session. She emphasized the critical need for maintaining cyber hygiene in today's digital landscape, outlining essential practices to protect personal and institutional data. The lecture aimed to raise awareness about various cyber threats, including digital arrest, phishing, smishing, spoofing, and online scams, encouraging vigilance against these issues. Principal Prof. (Dr.) T.K. Sharma commended Dr. Sharma's efforts in promoting cyber awareness and reaffirmed the college's commitment to vigilance in all aspects of life, particularly in technology.
