JAMMU, Oct 30: The Department of Youth Services and Sports of District Jammu launched the Inter-District UT Level Competition of Softball for AAG Girls today at GGM Science College, Jammu. This event is organized under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports, JK UT, Rajinder Singh Tara, and is guided by Joint Director Ved Parkash, with oversight from DYSSO Jammu, Sunil Kumar Sharma, and I/C DYSSO Jammu, Smt. Harvinder Kour.
Around 250 participants from various districts of Jammu and Kashmir are competing, aiming to showcase their talents and vie for future competitions. The event is managed by a team of experts from the department, including Harvinder Singh, Amlok Singh, Varinder Singh, Jyoti Sharma, and Gurbachan Singh.
Harvinder Kour encouraged participants to play with team spirit and dedication.

U-14 Years Girls:
Semi-Final 1: District Budgam defeated District Kupwara (9-4).
Semi-Final 2: District Pulwama defeated District Jammu (4-2).
Final Match: District Budgam vs. District Pulwama tomorrow.
U-17 Years Girls:
Semi-Final 1: District Jammu defeated District Kupwara (6-2).
Semi-Final 2: District Pulwama defeated District Anantnag (11-1).
Final Match: District Jammu vs. District Pulwama tomorrow.
U-19 Years Girls:
Match 1: District Jammu defeated District Bandipora (11-0).
Match 2: District Srinagar defeated District Budgam (13-2). |
