JAMMU, Oct 31: To celebrates the National Unity Day & Happy Deepawali , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan paid floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel commemorates the birth anniversary in collaboration with Sangam Tru art Production in its 469th Wednesday Series Musical Play " EKTA KA DIYA " at its Rehearsal hall, Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu. The function was inaugurated by Dr.Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&K Government. Among the Guest of Honors present were Mukesh Singh, Media person Jammu & Romesh Chander, Advisor, Shashvat Art Gallery Jammu were the Guest of Honor. The programe was commenced with songs "Ekta Ka Diya", "Suno Suno Bharat walo HumSab Ek Saman Hai", "Mil Ke Kaho Hum Ek Hai", "Anekta mai Ekta Ka Dikhta Naya Sandesh", "Payari Ganga Ae Sari" which was written, produced & Directed by Dr.M.L. Dogra and music was assisted by the Master Raju Bajgal. The chief guest said, every year, on October 31st , India observes National Unity Day, also known as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. This significant day commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a pivotal figure in India's struggle for independence and the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India.and Wishing you a Diwali filled with laughter, love, and delicious Sweets Happy Diwali. The program was also recorded & uploaded online on Social Media for benefit of the peoples.
Earlier welcome address of Dr. M.L. Dogra, Chairman, said every year on 31st October the country commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who is a pivotal figure in India's struggle for independence and the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of the country. National Unity Day serves as a reminder of his efforts to unite the diverse princely states into a single nation and fosters a spirit of solidarity among the people of the country. Renowned for his exceptional leadership and unyielding commitment to national integration, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is fondly remembered as the Iron Man of India. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, also known as the "Iron Man of India," was a key leader in India's struggle for independence. He studied law in England and became a barrister before joining the freedom movement. A close associate of Mahatma Gandhi, Patel played a key role in the Quit India Movement and the Civil Disobedience Movement. National Unity Day is a significant reminder that, despite our differences, we are bound by a shared history, culture, and identity. India, with its multitude of languages, religions, and traditions, exemplifies "unity in diversity," and National Unity Day serves to strengthen this idea and also said wishing you all happy Diwali with happiness and glory, prosperity and blessings.

Families gather during this time to celebrate the win of knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and light over darkness. Diwali, also called Deepawali, is a celebration of a new beginning and the victory of optimism in our lives. This year Diwali is falling on two days i.e October 31st and November 1st. The singers, musician, actors and students of Music and Computer institute who performed in the cultural programe were Usha Raina , Raju Bajgal Rajni Gupta , Bindia Okheda, Chahat Chadha , Rahul Kumar , Sudesh Manhas presented the enthralled performance. Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program
