| Police arrests 3 bootleggers, seizes 383 bottles of illicit liquor | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 2: Continuing its drive against the sale of illicit liquor in the District, Jammu Police achieved major success by arresting 03 bootleggers and recovered huge quantities of illicit liquor in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bishnah. Acting on reliable information regarding sale of illicit liquor on 01-11-24 police party of PS Bishnah led by SHO PS Bishnah Raided 03 suspected location in which 03 persons who were selling illicit liquor in the jurisdiction of PS Bishnah were arrested and recovered 383 Desi Quater * and also *33 Litresof desi Illicit liquor. The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura and SP Hqrs Jammu. In this connection,case FIR No's 176/2024 U/S 48A,177/24 U/S 48F and 178/24 U/S 48A Excise Act have been registered at PS Bishnah and investigation started. General Public has applauded the efforts of Jammu Police in taking effective actions against sale of illicit liquor in the Bishnah area. |
