JAMMU, Nov 2: In a relentless pursuit against drug peddlers, Jammu Police made a significant breakthrough on 31-10-2024, Police party of Police Post Sidhra while on special Naka checking duty at near Bajalta Chowk Sidhra. During Naka checking one person was coming from Majeen Ragoora towards Sidhra on seeing of Police party he tried to escaped and jumped in road side Nallah. Police party chased him and apprehended, Later disclosed his name as Babar Khan S/o Ghullam Nabi R/o Bhagwati Nagar Jammu. During his personal search approx. 25 grm Heroin like substance recovered.In this regard a case FIR No 287/2024 U/S 8/21/22 of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota, marking a decisive step towards curbing the drug trade in the area. Jammu Police urges all citizens to remain vigilant against the scourge of drugs and encourages them to report any suspicious activities promptly. |
