DC Srinagar approves 46 self-employment cases under mission youth

SRINAGAR, Nov 2: A meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) on Mission Youth Schemes was held today held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat here at Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex.
Among others the meeting was attended by, Chief Planning Officer (CPO), Deputy Director Employment, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO), Lead Bank Manager, and the General Manager of the District Industries Centre (DIC) participated in the meeting.
The meeting focussed on evaluating cases under Mission Youth Schemes, specifically Mumkin, Tejaswini, and SEI (Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative). After thorough discussions, 46 cases were approved for the implementation of self-employment initiatives.
Additionally, SEI candidates were interviewed, facilitating a direct assessment of their applications and suitability for their proposed projects.
The DC Srinagar emphasized the importance of timely execution, directing the Deputy Director Employment to expedite the submission of these approved cases to partner banks. This prompt action will ensure that candidates receive the necessary support and financial assistance to establish their entrepreneurial units.
The DC said that the Administration administration remains committed to empowering young aspirants and building a robust ecosystem of employment and entrepreneurship in the region.
Mission Youth schemes like Mumkin, Tejaswini, and SEI are instrumental in promoting self-employment among the youth of Srinagar, providing them with the necessary resources and support to lead independent, sustainable livelihoods.
