YSCC Doda Mourns Passing away of Devender Singh Rana

Doda, Nov 3: Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda, a prominent social and sports NGO, has expressed deep condolences on the passing away of Devender Singh Rana, a significant figure in Jammu, business tycoon, and sitting MLA from Nagrota. Rana was well-known for his commitment to public service and advocacy for the rights of all, and his death has created a notable void in the political and social landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a condolence meeting led by YSCC Patron Manzoor Ahmed Batt, members shared their profound sorrow and solidarity with Rana’s family. Batt highlighted Rana’s lasting contributions to the welfare of the region and his dedication to social service. “Despite his role in government, Rana stood firmly with different sections of society, ensuring their voices were heard,” Batt stated. “He was a true advocate for everyone’s rights and a stalwart of support for the people of J&K.”
The meeting recognized Rana’s tireless efforts for justice and his inspirational legacy, emphasizing that he was a genuine leader and a great social personality. “His commitment to public service and contributions to the development of J&K will be remembered for years to come,” Batt added.
Members of YSCC noted that Rana was actively involved in promoting sports activities in the Chenab region and had a long-standing association with YSCC Doda, serving as a beacon of support during national-level events held in Doda. His loss is regarded as an irreparable blow to the community.
The condolence meeting was attended by several members, including Mr. Naseer Khora, Prof. Zaheer Abass Hashmi, Mr. Faizan A. Tramboo, Mr. Moosa Azad, Mr. Kessar Shenali, Mr. Waseem Raja, Mr. Rajid Wani, Mr. Noushair Batt, Mr. Irfan Ali Batt, Mr. Javed Ahmed, Mr. Tanzeel Malik, Mr. Syed Nasir, and Mr. Ilyas Butt, among others.
