| Protest in front of DDC, Tehsildar held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
BANIHAL, Mar 30: A wide protest demonstration against DDC Ramban and Tehsildar Banihal was held here in front of their office by the people demanding strict action action against those who are responsible for the death of one Javed Iqbal son of Ghulam Nabi resident of the area whose body was found in Srinagar few days ago. They alleged that Javed was kidnapped by one Ghulam Mahiudeen to Srinagar where he was murdered but no action has been taken against the accused.The matter was pacified only after the intervention of SSP Ramban Sunil Dut who gave assurance of proper inquiry into the incident.He also made the case registered in Banihal police station.
