JAMMU, Nov 5: GGM Science College (Men's) and Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar (Women's) emerged victorious in the Inter-College Basketball Tournament for 2024-2025, organized by Cluster University of Jammu at Jammu University. The event showcased intense competition and sportsmanship, with GGM Science College defeating Govt. MAM College 46-26 in the men's final, led by standout players Anikat Chib and Aryan Sharma. In the women's section, GCW Gandhi Nagar triumphed over Govt. SPMR College of Commerce with a score of 16-04.
Chief Guest Sh. Ashutosh Sharma and Guest of Honor Sh. Kuljit Singh presented awards, while Prof. Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of GGM Science College, praised the teams' dedication. The tournament was supervised by Dr. Vinod Bakshi and supported by college sports directors, with officiating by referees ensuring fair play. |
